We made it through the 2008 holiday season!  The kids have been off from school for two weeks.  They love each other more when they are in school!

Christmas morning Anthony caught the stomach flu.  Lacey woke me up with a "Mommy, Anthony's throwing up!"  Great.  Just another excuse to try to get me out of bed on Christmas morning so you can open presents.  We cancelled plans for the day, and stayed on the couch with a bucket, which was used regularly.

I caught it from Anthony on the night of his birthday.  I was able to stave off symptoms until after cake and ice cream and present opening.  Then I retired to bed.

Kids go back to school on Monday!  I think the house will return to peacefulness soon.....
